Spyderco Chaparral Titanium

Slim and lightweight, with an attractive titanium handle, Spyderco’s Chaparral is every bit the gentleman’s pocketknife it aims to be. The flat-ground, leaf-shaped blade is made of CTS XHP, a high-carbon stainless steel comparable to D2 tool steel but with more corrosion resistance. Equipped with a finger choil and thumb ramp, not to mention an acute point, the blade excels at precision cutting tasks. For ambidextrous blade deployment, the knife is equipped with Spyderco’s trademark round hole.

The handle features geometric patterns that take on the qualities of a hologram when tilted against the light. But this is no hologram. The handle is ever-so-slightly three-dimensional, precision-machined to have a subtle texture. Equipped with a lockback mechanism, the handle also features a wire pocket clip that helps maintain the low profile of a gentleman’s knife. Positioned for tip-up carry, it’s reversible for right- and left-handed use.
