Does this know come with a manufacturer warranty from Spyderco or one from massdrop??

Nobody117Massdrop or not, Spiderco backs everything they make. I have carried my Spiderco for over 20 years and have never had an issue with it. Chances are you will lose it before you break it.

RevRPBDude, are you serious.?The tip of the PM2 is so thin you're one drop from breaking it. Spyderco won't even let you disassemble their knives without voiding the warranty. I love the PM2, but Spyderco needs to up their game and quit using red loctite on their knives. What are they so afraid of? Spyderco savings on Massdrop are minimal compared to other brands.

BoxBladeI don't follow your reasoning. PM2 may be thin; but as I said, my old Goddard is over 20 years old, steal manufacturing has changed a lot since then. That said, DON'T DROP YOUR KNIFE. Along the same lines, I don't know of any company that honors a warranty if you dismantle their product, why would Spyderco be any different; its a safety/liability issue.

RevRPBYou are wrong on warranties for knives. Chris Reeve Knives actually sends you the tool to disassemble their knives and encourages it (warranty intact). Boker does the same. So does Brous Blades. WE Knives too. Most knife companies don't void the warranty for disassembly. Sometimes people actually want to clean their pivots or modify a knife with new scales or hardware. Knives are very simple so I don't believe safety or liability are a big issue. Just put some blue painters tape on the blade and there is zero danger. I don't drop knives, but in a world with GRAVITY, there is always a possibility. Spyderco is resting on their past and many companies are leaving them in the dust.
