Staub might be like Nikon. One of a few that are tops. I have one Staub piece. My ex kept the LeCreuset, 8qt, oval, but it was given to our first born and is still in use. I got to cook in it the last time that I visited. I believe that it is about 40 years old now. If you don't have any enameled clad cast iron, you should, unless your culinary skills are limited to Banquet and Marie Callender.
