The Sunwayman C21 Thunder Hammer is an EDC flashlight that can be there when you need it the most. Its independent dual light source located in the top front (CREE XM-L2 LED, white) and side light (CREE high-power LED, red) makes it the perfect flashlight where ever you go Read More
Love love love this little light. It was expensive buying the support hardware (fancy batteries and fancy charger), but well worth the cost (plus I have those pieces for future fancy lights). I can confirm that this light is easy to use even with thick winter gloves. In fact, you can easily feel the globe over the red LED through the gloves, giving you the light's orientation so you can find the button. It is a little odd having the red light on the side; in some situations it's advantageous, others it's annoying, so it comes out as a wash. I've accidentally left this light on for 24hrs+, forgotten in a coat pocket, and I had no problem with battery drain or overheating. I've also lost it in the snow in subfreezing temperature for a couple days, with no negative impact on the light. The only problem I have is that I find it difficult to switch the light into SOS mode. I can easily double-click into strobe mode, but for some reason the second double-click into SOS just doesn't get sensed well. Maybe this is a feature to prevent people from crying wolf with the flashlight, but it's a little odd regardless.
Got mine today. Good desire and spec. I felt they should used a better quality screws as on close inspection half of the plate screw heads already lost its sharp edges. The other issue is the instruction manual on mode changing:
1. Click and hold = long click
2. Double click and hold = click and long click
Got mine in today, really glad I went with it. It's about the same size as my Zebralight SC600mkII but the square shape is great. The lights all cycle easily and it is as bright as the zebralight on it's High-low setting. The red light on the side is bright too and also has adjustable brightness. While the zebralight is better for battery life, this one seems very practical for EDC and I highly recommend it.
