With a cast-aluminum construction, a heavy bottom, and thick sides, the pans are designed to heat up evenly and quickly, without burning even your most delicate foods in the process. And to keep your food hot and confined to its respective pot, the pans come with a tempered-glass lid. This allows you to watch your food as it cooks inside. To encourage a wide range of cooks, Swiss Diamond has made the saucepans compatible with a wide range of heat sources, including gas, electric, and halogen. Feel free to put them into an oven up to 500 degrees.
