This stout everyday folder is super compact, giving you tons of control when piercing and slicing. The chisel-ground blade is made from CPM-S35VN stainless steel for superior edge retention and corrosion resistance. Because of its tanto shape, it’s great for penetrating cardboard, fibers, and thick plastic (and while it’s not recommend to use any knife to pierce metal, this one can easily go through cans, too). To accompany the blade, there’s a skeletonized titanium handle, which is anodized in three limited-edition colors. Built into it is a reinforced frame lock for secure blade lockup. Also notable is the flipper tab, which creates smooth blade deployment time and time again. Carry the knife in the included pouch or stick it in a pocket with the tip-up titanium clip.

Developed by Crucible Industries (one of the leading manufacturers of specialty steels for the cutlery industry) and Chris Reeve (arguably the most famous knifemaker in the world), S35VN is perhaps the most balanced blade steel ever created in terms of all-around performance. It’s made through a process of powdered metallurgy known as CPM, which results in near perfect consistency in the distribution of carbides. Compared to conventional melting practices, the CPM process produces a steel characterized by superior dimensional stability, grindability, and toughness.
