Made for relaxing listening sessions, the Tanchjim Oxygen IEM delivers a dark, smooth sound with little fatigue. It uses the company’s proprietary 9.2-millimeter graphene dynamic driver, and boasts an ergonomic design for an excellent fit Read More
shotgunshaneReceived yesterday. Shipping was really slow but it’s finally here and definitely worth the wait. Very pleased. It looks and sounds great. Bass response is a hair fuller and considerably more even sounding than Kanas Pro, so it doesn’t have the disjointed feeling from the sub bass elevation of the KP. Treble is extended but very smooth and relaxing. Kanas Pro has a slightly more exciting top end that stays very refined. Build of Oxygen shells seems to be a step up in materials and appearance. The Oxygen shorter nozzle might be a concern for some, but I have no issues using single flange silicones.
I have a pair of IE80S Sennheiser IEMs but they have failed a month in on the right driver twice. The sound has fallen off drastically to the point where i can barely hear out of the right driver when the left is blasting. I love them but I'm looking gor something else now, vould anyone tell me how the Oxygen might compare? Any help from someone with experience with both or even just the Oxygen would be much appreciated.
phoenixsongi was looking at the graph he put up (but I’m not great at reading graphs). I think he just said it sounds like the kanas pro but has a worst fit.
mattmikGood point. Plus for what they're asking for these, you could get the 7Hz Timeless, which are an end-game-quality set for some people, so something else to consider.
mattmikAre you sure its the same driver and not just similar tuning? The Hana 2021 for example sounds like the O2 because of its tuning. not the driver setup
With such similar frequency responses, I would expect more similarities than differences. A review that one sidedly favors one iem over another seems disingenuous
BobobobobiyHaha indeed, but it's a fact that frequency response is only a share of the pie too! Take the TH900 for example, it's frequency response is similar to some way less desirable-sounding headphones
I'm not sure what happened, but on the last drop it just ended with a day still to go? I was going to get in on these the last day, and missed out. I have a set I've been loaned, and holy hell... these need to come back RIGHT NOW. I'll purchase in a heart beat!
Purchased mine from another source (sorry Drop you where taking too long). It came with this sheet of dot stickers. No mention of them in the packaging. Nicely packaged by the way. Maybe for covering pin hole for more bass? Anyone else get them?
