If I was going to get this where do I buy the discs? Most if not all of my music are in CD/Digital form(CDs ripped to FLAC/WAV).
Also are carriages replaceable and if so where to get them?
I need not worry for the sound system though as I'll use something like a HD600.
IcywolfeYou can buy Vinyls for this at amazon or your local music shops (specialized, not large chains).
The carriages are removable but I am unsure as to where to get replacement parts.
Icywolfethey are called records and you can buy them at a record store or online. A lot of artists are selling them on their websites now too. Do you mean the cartridges? if so you can replace them. look online for the right one for you.
IcywolfeAmazon. also my medium sized town there are a few record exchanges that sell new and used records. Goodwills and the like also probably have some records.
IcywolfeRecord stores, pawn shop's, thrift stores. Yes you can get replacement cartridges on places like Shure's needles are pretty good for dj's and don't tend to scratch records.
They're called records not disks by the way. Just so you don't get yelled at in the audiophile forms.
IcywolfeThis table comes with a fairly nice Audio Technica moving magnet cartridge, easily replaceable but I don't think you need to. The stylus is also easily replaced.
