This is the cheaper powder resin mix..... only glows if exposed to light and does not stay bright very long. Get the "real thing", Tritium vials inside similar lanterns that does not need to be exposed to light to glow, glows for 12 years. Green is the brightest. Tritium vials/lanterns can be found on eBay or direct from China where I get mine from.

silverspurr59Good enough for me. Use it as safety marker while walking on shared bike path and personally like to stay away radioactive materials.

silverspurr59And how about that “direct from China“ link? 🤓

IvanSpendalotIt won't keep it's glow for more than 15 min. if that. You need to shine light onto it, or leave it in a lit room prior to going into a dark environment. Tritium vials are the only way to go, green always being the brightest. Tritium gas glows constantly, no need to "charge" it with light as it does not absorb light like the cheaper resin/powder mix. Tritium glows for up to 25 years.

IvanSpendalotFeel free to view all the video/s on YouTube and elsewhere on the internet where the vials are tested and the contents of the vials don't even register on the testing machine. Tritium is not something from a 1950's Sci Fi movie.

silverspurr59So, again, what is this "direct from China" supplier. Care to share the link?
