I have used ti picks for around 10 years, ever since the guy who designed and perfected them started selling them. I would never buy these, I consider them a blatent ripoff of another artisans concept and design. But that’s just me...

Seems pretty universal to me

OmniseedTitanium toothpicks, yes. His name is Jaimie Piekkola (sp?). These picks are carbon copies of his originals, which are made by hand, one at a time. He’s aware of these picks, seen them, and offered that the company producing them had contacted him fishing for information on his production methods. I have no issue with expanding on an artist’s work, but these are a blatant ripoff.

Stretcherwith all due respect, a metal pick with a knurled portion for grip is not a novel concept, and it certainly wasn't 'invented' by anyone alive today.
This whole 'intellectual property' movement is really just rent-seeking behavior run wild, kind of like treating round hole thumb openers on a knife as a truly novel introduction by Spyderco. It's not, it's just a trademark of their knife brand, that's why their ability to exclusively advertise such round holes was a time-limited privilege that ended already. Lots of equipment and tools have used round holes as a means of manipulating said item, Spyderco's trademark was on using round holes on ALL of their knives as a sign of their brand. It's a marketing feature as much as a functional feature.
In the case of these picks, it's even less unique.

OmniseedFine! take two years off and write a book, then sit back and watch some large publisher publish it word for word, and sell it for half the price. No problem! Its just paper and some arrangement of letters and words. And, I am aware of no anodized ti picks before Jamie‘s.
