Basic yet ingeniously designed, these three templates by Marti Michell make measuring, marking, and cutting not just easier but more accurate and efficient, too. The drop price is for one template, though all three make indispensable additions to any quilting kit.

Made to accommodate customers’ requests for a larger triangle, the Flying Geese Ruler allows you to cut both triangles for Flying Geese units in five different sizes: 2.5 x 5 in, 3 x 6 in, 3.5 x 7 in, 4 x 8 in, and 4.5 x 9 in. The ruler also comes with instructions for use.

Marked with both a letter and the strip length in inches, the Log Cabin Rulers allow you to cut strips to exact lengths for block sizes up to 14 inches. Finished strip widths are 2:1 on both rulers, so you can cut strips from both sides to make off-center log cabin blocks. Each ruler comes with instructions for cutting strips the correct width and chain piecing blocks.

Easier and more accurate than paper piecing, the Pineapple Ruler allows you to cut half-inch pineapple strips for 8-, 10-, 12- and 14-inch finished blocks. This size is great for miniature pineapple-style quilts and small projects.
