Collapsible Carbon Fiber Rods
Based in Driggs, Idaho, and surrounded by some of the world’s best trout rivers and streams, Tenkara Rod Co. makes products for anglers of all levels. A Japanese style of fly fishing that’s been around for hundreds of years, tenkara (literally “from heaven”) gets a contemporary interpretation in the Sawtooth and Teton rods. The Sawtooth and Teton are flexible, lightweight rods that won’t tangle easily and don't require a reel to function. They are ideal for catching trout in the 6 to 18-inch range but are also capable of landing a larger fish. At full length, both rods are 12 feet long with 9 segments and can collapse down to just 20 inches—which makes it ideal for travel or camping. The Teton features a 6:4 action making it slightly stiffer than the Sawtooth for more control and power.
