Yeah, this is pretty unacceptable. First I had to order a couple of these because the original Yoda trackpoint stem broke off after about a week of normal use, and then I had to spend more money getting the old SMD connector moved onto one of the replacement trackpoints i bought. They should at least ship a connector with this. What a PITA

This did not come with a ribbon header? That's one of the main reasons I ordered this.

CorditeIt's not supposed to. It says nowhere that it'd come with one. You can buy header pins for pennies on Ebay as the pitch of headers are standard. Ribbon cables too.

Thanks again for joining the drop with the community. We submitted the group’s order with TEX for the Trackpoints shortly after the drop ended and they have begun preparing it for shipment.
Once the group’s order is ready at TEX's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our fulfillment center where we’ll break it up into individual orders and ship them off to you as soon as possible.

as a matter of fact, will this stem fit through the hole in the ergodox pcb that is right in between the thumb cluster and the main matrix?

Just a note: on the TEX Yoda, the trackpoint PCB is -under- the keyboard PCB, and there's a hole in the PCB to allow the stem to poke through to the keys.

Would it at all be possible to connect this to a teensy? I doubt it is? I dont like having to use 2 cables (USB for teensy And PS2 for this), any ideas how I could use 1?

The TMK firmware (https://github.com/tmk/tmk_keyboard) says that it supports TrackPoints, and it can be installed on an Ergodox's Teensy (among other things). Anyone know more about this? An Ergodox with a TrackPoint would be my dream device!
