Taken from here: https://www.head-fi.org/showcase/bgvp-dmg.23283/reviews "The King Pro and DMG go punch for punch. The DMG has a touch more treble energy with less forward mids. The DMG's bass is more engaging with a punchier presentation, however, the King Pro has better balance and extension which really shows itself on EDM tracks. The DMG can't touch it's awesome sub-bass. Detail and clarity goes to the DMG, but overall coherence is in the King's court. When it comes to staging qualities, the King Pro sounds larger and has more accurate imaging, but it lacks the same sense of depth and layering you get with the DMG. I feel they they perform on an equal level, though I prefer the DMG for the extra treble energy. The King Pro is excellent, but a touch too polite for my tastes. They goo head-to-head in terms of build too. The King's aluminum shells are just as well constructed, though the gap under the faceplate, which is purposeful and hides the King's vents, takes away from the design's cohesion. Not an issue on the DMG. Comfort is good on the King, but it doesn't conform to the ear as naturally as the DMG. Isolation is also not as good letting in more outside noise. TFZ's cable is fantastic, but falls a step behind the DMG's. It's not quite as flexible for one, but the real kicker is the weight of the steel y-split which makes it's presence known at all times. It tugs and pulls, and will probably shorten the life of the cable."
Wonder how these compare to the TFZ Exclusive 5..
So is there even really a difference between the King II and the LTD? Is it actually worth it to pay the extra for the LTD or is this just marketing?

Seems like it's just the cable and that little gold screw on the casing,
Wonder how they compare to the sadly discontinued Sony XB90EX? Sonys have a 16mm driver. I curse the day that the nonremovable cables on the XB90s decides to shit the bed.
is there a fundamental difference in sound between king ii and an ordinary king?
Listening to TFZ king, Ltd now, on my first song or two. The build is solid. The ear pieces are really attractive. Using the largest ear tips gives me the best seal, so no need to ransack my bin of ear tips for a better fit. Luckily, the ear pieces fit in my ear is comfy and doesn't feel heavy or unbalanced. The 2 pin cable is really nice. Their are 4x strands for each ear. they meet at the y- join, then it becomes 8 strands, interwoven together. The cable is very flexible. The use a very attractive metal aluminum 3.5in plug. I've spent more than $20-30 for comparable after market upgrade cables. My very initial impression is that the sound is really good. Thanks to the good seal, I get a lot of bass. The mids are clear and vocals well presented. The treble is all very detail, but its not harsh. I wouldn't call it v-shaped since I don't think the treble is overly emphasized. More bass than i would think you would get versus flat frequency response curve. So far a pretty enjoyable listening experience. I do have TFZ Galaxy T2. I think the King Ltd offers a more detail, more clarity and a maybe a bit more bass. Otherwise the sound signature is pretty similar. The King LTD offers a much nicer stock cable and is definitely more attractive. For me, both models are very comfortable in my ear. The accessory ear tips and carry case pouch are the same for both models.

Can the TFZ T2 be called the best All-Rounder IEM below the $ 60 price range? Is it said to be feasible? T2 Galaxy pair with LTD Cable can improve the sound quality?

How do these compare to the TFZ Galaxy T2 IEM? I'm trying to decide between the two of them.
There are so many versions of Kings that it is as chaotic as europe in AD1000...
Grev
Or the warring states period in China around BC400 XD
Who is the real king here

Wait... so I just got the King Pro from a drop not too long ago. They sounded amazing... and now a King II.... What is so different?

dude idk, some executive in tfz probably snorted crack and decided to price iems from 50$ to 200$ in 10$ incriments.

The King II's look to be much more efficient: 16 Ohms, 108 dB vs. 55 Ohms, 105dB
"King LTD cable type: 4-strand silver-plated OFC (006*18) + 4-strand high-purity OFC (003*63), twist woven". Unfortunately I forgot what the numbers mean HAHA! Something about the strands/cores I think?
Does anyone know how these compare to the series 4's?
Are the 2 offerings the same musically? I own the TFZ 5's and love them (my go-to iem). Can anyone compare them to the Kings? I would use them mainly on -the-go, bike riding, skiing, etc.. with a Hidizs Pro AP60.

Thanks for your comparison. Now a tougher question to answer, would someone that likes the Series 5 find it worthwhile to buy the King 2?
werekong
If you enjoy listening to the singers voice and every detail in their voice. Definitely!
This is getting ridiculous. The King, King Pro, King 2, King Ltd, and King Air. How much more can they milk this model?

Looking at how it's going, probably a King Stage, King City, King Special, King Water, Fire, Earth, King 3, 4, 5 etc...

There was also a TFZ King Exclusive which I saw for sale on the Penon Audio site. LOL
How are these compared to the Shure SE215s?
SaturdayNoon
Probably piss all over them, even my KZ ZST Pro are better and Aliexpress is selling them for USD 10.00 this month.

OK actually got to listen to them and I much prefer them to my SE215s which sound darker duller and less open in comparison. The build is solid but the SE215s are lighter and more comfortable for me. If it was my money then it goes on the TFZ.
