Inspired by the first settlers in the American Midwest, the Thorogood 1892 Janesville boots are built for a life of adventure. They feature hand-rubbed Chromexcel leather from Chicago’s legendary Horween tannery, tanned to age gracefully using a 100-year-old recipe Read More
My 7.5size fit me perfectly. I LOVE THEM!!! I normally wear 8.5 for all china made sneakers. I went down 1 full size and theres just the right amount of space in toe box for thicker socks. Remember guys chromexcel leather will stretch. My right side tongue is wrinkled up compared to my left. Stitching on the shoes are spot on and its very comfy like sneakers. I recommend wearing natural colorway with black or blue denims. I want the black and brown ones now 😍
Thanks ludachris.
I don’t have a Brannock device. But I measured my foot’s length about 27.2 cm standing up heel against wall. Looking at a conversion chart, I am probably a size 10 on a Brannock device. Should I get a 9, 9.5 or 10? Tough decision.
PopeilI recommend getting measured on the brannock device for true size in store. Its hard to measure your own foot. If massdrop had free exchange policy then it would help out a lot of customers with sizing and fit.
I have two pairs / styles of Thorogood.
Thorogood (I'd never wear Red Wing).
I have a 6" Moc Toe in Black Walnut with a black sole.
And a pair of roofers in matte black with the cream sole.
Do all thorogood's use a plastic storm welt? I just got a pair of their Woolrich collab and it had a plastic storm welt and the Natural below has a storm welt (can't tell if it's plastic), while the Black and Brown don't. Which make up is this?
DETAILS!
Mansard_RoofWhat woolrich collab has a plastic welt?
I have Woolrich Yankees made by thorogood and they are leather welter. Not storm welted though.
Most have leather welts in my experience. Especially their heritage line (1892)
