Question: Shows "Voltage rating: 11.1V" but mentions a bundle with two 11.1V batteries and in the text mentions "Whether equipped with two 4S or 6S batteries" where use of 2x4S (~16.8V ea) or 2x6S (~25.2V ea) batteries would seem to far exceed specs. What is actually compatible with it without further modification? Assuming I found the correct manufacturer specs the max would be a single 6S but I just wanted to confirm this wasn't a special Massdrop model or anything (http://www.thundertiger.com/download/KAISER_eMTA_Monster_Truck_JD8034V3man6411.pdf)

da5idHi da5id, The voltage rating is describing the nominal voltage for a single Onyx 11.1v 5000mah 35C battery listed in the specs! The vehicle does indeed require 2x4S (~16.8V ea) or 2x6S (~25.2V ea) (charged voltages, opposed to nominal) to run!

DaveHoffWhat throws me off is where it says twin 3s LiPo (6s total) on the chart:
search

Though ~62mph+ is quite impressive in that config (or most any other).

da5idThe speed control is configured in series combining (2) 11.1v batteries to make 22.2v which is what the chart is describing. The speed is very impressive! Hope this helps!
