How does one remove/replace the pin fastener for the pulley (i.e. to change the pulley type from double to single)?
I would rather not scrape my nails too much trying to do something stupid.

We were 2 units from unlocking the minimum price and 2 days after closing 9 people have requested this item again? (and I saw at least 2 people requested less than 24 hours after close)

On the climbing note. Anybody who thinks these can be used for anything even remotely climbing related is clearly not a climber (so I don't get why they're so disappointed).
Climbing is a recreational activity and there is absolutely no sense in making it unnecessarily unsafe by climbing with something that is clearly not designed for climbing.
For starters, climbing with a carabiner that doesn't lock is completely stupid insane and you WILL get flak for it. I don't care what else your carabiner does, or how much it cost, if it doesn't lock, you can die. And why risk dying just so you can use something cool for climbing? Many carabiners have special markings so it is easy to tell when they are not locked. It is probably the single most important safety measure any climber can follow and I learned that my first time using a carabiner (on a high ropes course when I was like 12) and I still remember to this day.
Second, this is designed to work with paracord, not climbing rope. It's in the dang name for crying out loud "PARA"-biner.
Finally, nowhere in any of the ads is this being used for climbing. Ya, the guy is wearing a harness and hoisting himself..... that is not climbing. The only thing it has in common is the fact that his weight is being supported by metal and rope. He is not hoisting himself to dangerous heights like you would see while climbing (or he is doing so while acknowledging the risk). It's a marketing gimmick, and it's the same kind of stuff you see when car commercials show cars racing super fast. Maybe he shouldn't have done it, but whatever.
Note that I am not even getting into the load rating debate because it DOESN'T MATTER. They did a test which was for generally informative purposes. That is all, because nobody should be using this for climbing even if it was "rated" for a billion kilonewtons. If it doesn't lock it's not for climbing.
On the plus side, ya if you're in an emergency these will do. If i am sitting in a canyon and need to be lifted to safety I'm not about to yell at you for not using a locking carabiner if it's gonna save my life in that moment (although I will yell at you if there is a locking carabiner in your pocket and you use this).
All that being said, I still got a pair. I think it has uses besides lifting a person that everyone is getting hung up on.
It's not for climbing and this should not be even remotely surprising or you are not even a climber (in which case, why do you care?!)

15% is not a big discount, especially when

SecretAsianMan200+ in the last drop for a 21% discount, 12 people for a 15% discount seems fair.
Owning the PB7 I like it, but the MSRP on the PB-9 is too rich for my blood, glad to see its getting more time.
constructive comment: My only gripe with the PB7 is the clip opening and a small set of keys being lost, which is odd that it happened, but it did so... some sort of locking mechanism would be nice ;-)
Edit I was surprised to learn from these comment this carabiner, cant be used in a harness. The video used to promote this product showed a guy hoisting himself with them. Now again I like it , but there is a word I learned about in marketing 101 about advertising for a purpose not designated. I'm pretty sure we all bought this for the zombie apocalypse. So heed the warning massdropers and take care, if you ever need to repel from those urban settings.

Glad to hear your extending this drop! I think the wrong people have been looking/commenting on these for the wrong reasons. If you can afford one, they're awesome and you get what you pay for!
Hey everyone, I'm actually going to extend this buy for a few days because we are very close to completing this as a drop.

AndrewLekashmanI'm probably going to just pick up another one. If I do, is there a chance of having the shipping adjusted so I don't pay individual shipping on the 2 separate orders I made?
***EDIT: Just saw the "Edit Quantity" option. Will try to use that when the time comes.***
