I have a soft spot for wood stoves, and I currently use a solo stove for everything in the backcountry. I was interested in this, but the reviews I found online for Toaks' stove say that the design allows wood gas to escape especially when it's windy. It's also a super tall stove, and I seldom find flat surfaces that could keep a pot of water from toppling. I would take another look if Toaks decides to redesign the stove.
