Hamm3rReally? Nooo! not my favorite keyboard ever! It's a good thing im picking up a second one then.
whats your source for this? i couldn't find anything but my google foo could be failing me
Hamm3rSo what topre boards will be left for sale?
I am looking to buy my first Topre board but was gonna pass on this, so now im concered. What will be left for me to pick from?
LifelongCabooseTopre will release a "Realforce R2". Actually, it has already been released in Japan. Google it.
There are also the HHKB and the Leopolds (FC660C, FC980C) that you can buy.
Hamm3rThanks for the reply, sadly i cant afford to get one now and i really dont like the look of the R2 ones so i guess ill be getting a FC660C when i can. Very dissapointing.
Hamm3rI have a RF RGB and the case is disappointing compared to the RF87U one, not to mention that the led for arrow up no longer makes contact for the red color and that the switches on it feel kinda meh. Since it looks like they are using the same case for the RF2, it will suck too probably. They should definitely address the flex in the front and the sides as it feels really flimsy compared to the sturdiness of the 87U.
c_r_zAgree. Typing from my realforce rgb. It's not a terrible keyboard, but it doesn't feel as good as my FC660C for sure. It is incredibly ugly. I bought it to customize the caps but all caps look pretty terrible on it due to ugly white backplate and just ugly frame. Shame Topre is going that design route with their keyboards because the 87U is gorgeous.
Hamm3rI completly agree, the only reason i didnt pick this one up is at this price id expect a removable cable which is a big thing for me because of the way my set up is cable managed.
