A Long-Reach Glove-Compatible Karambit
Though it measures nearly a foot long, the TOPS Knives TAC-TOPS karambit is nimble and agile. After all, the design was inspired by members of the Max Venom Product Group: a company that specializes in edged impact weapons. Sporting a 7.1-inch 1095 blade with black traction coating, the karambit is a sight to behold. In terms of sheer length, it offers more reach than just about any karambit on the market, but that doesn’t make it hard to manage: Put it in the classic reverse grip and you’ll feel its balance right away. The handle, made from canvas micarta, is textured for a secure hold. An oversized finger hole allows you to use it properly without taking off your gloves for the mission at hand. A thick point on the pommel can be used to stun or to break through glass in a pinch. Also included is a kydex sheath for convenient carry.
