jimosphereThey are, from the first paragraph of the product's description:
"After multiple requests in the polls for trash cans (thanks, guys), we explored what it would take to arrange a group buy for them, but discovered it wasn't feasible. Fortunately, it turns out that nearly everyone who requested a trash can also happened to be a PC user. Since we can’t offer an actual garbage receptacle, we set out to satisfy the community by crafting our very own trash-can keycap—designed in-house—as a token of our appreciation."
sambarughlol. In iLoveTom3rY's defense though, yes technically it is artisan. I mean, it's figuratively a piece of shit, but it IS artisan nonetheless. He was just being pedantic. [EDIT] upon rereading his definition I have to agree, it ain't artisan. It is hilarious though.
OwrlWhere does your "yes technically it is artisan" comes from? My defence has noting to do with justifying whether it's an artisan or not, I'm simply comparing the makers' definition and Wikipedia's definition.
DEFINITION of ARTISAN : An artisan is a skilled craft worker who makes or creates things by hand that may be functional or strictly decorative, for example furniture, decorative arts, sculptures, clothing, jewellery, household items and tools or even mechanical mechanisms such as the handmade clockwork movement of a watchmaker. Artisans practice a craft and may through experience and aptitude reach the expressive levels of an artist. (From Wikipedia)
Now, what is this piece of junk/"Trash" then ?
Are you that dumb? They are both regarded as "ARTISAN", and that's a valid reason to do the comparison. If you could read, even as a third grader, you could easily tell I'm comparing the interpretations of the word "ARTISAN" here, not specifically watchmaking. And don't act like you are knows anything about watchmaking, 'cause you absolutely don't.
