I consider myself an above average user of shaving products. I shave/trim my beard at least 3 times a week, and I shave my head once week. So needless to say, I have gone through many hair clippers. I have tried a slew of different brands, including Wahl, Panasonic, and Philips Norelco. The common theme with all of these trimmers is that the battery life is terrible, attachments easily break, and the overall aesthetic of the trimmers is poor (I like something that looks good in my bathroom). For the price, the "TravelMate" is far superior than the other brands on all of these aspects. Out of the box, the motor and battery life is strong, giving an efficient shave. The attachments are sturdy and clip into place without any wiggle. And lastly, the trimmer has a really nice black sheen to its look, which gives it a really nice modern appearance that looks great in my bathroom. On the performance side, this trimmer does everything I need. It comes with enough attachments to cut my beard to most of my desired lengths, and it is also great to use when shaving my head. It's simple, gets the job done, and it is cheaper than most of the other name brands. All in all, I will definitely recommend this product to my beard wielding friends.
