Watch with a successful "vintage" look, good finish and assembly of the case (brilliant / mat) and acrylic glass.
Easy reading of the time after a small adjustment, good eyesight recommended.
2 small negative points, the discs with the numbers would have benefited from having better quality materials and impressions (especially the hours) and the bracelet is beautiful but has a strange smell ....
It is a fun looking watch but the movement and casing of it feels cheap. As others have pointed out, the rotary is very loud compared to other movements.
I’ve just received it and at first sight it looks pretty cool and makes a good impression on the wrist. It comes in a neoprene pouch quite handy if you travel and want to pack it in you luggage. Looking more in details, the glass (which is acrylic) feels indeed quite plasticky and since the minutes disk is rotating to keep the time, they had to put the labels on the “glass” (hopefully on the backside..), which look a bit cheap though. The strap that comes with is true leather, mine is black on top and red on the back and makes a great color match. Quality wise, it is made up by two layers glued together and I feel it won’t resist long a frequent on-off wrist change. Last, the rotor spins quite loudly, but it’s my first miyota movement so I can’t compare if it’s normal. Anyway it sounds a bit like a “toy”.
Overall nice looking watch which however that doesn’t look like built to last decades.
