Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The stock wire that came with the headset is extremely long and yesterday it annoyed me very much that it kept getting tangled with itself, so I decided to see if the cable is replaceable. I pulled out the cable from the headset and saw the adapter, and looked online for a replacement. Upon plugging it back in, the audio sounded extremely muffled and washed out. Im not sure what I did wrong to make it mess up like that as I've always taken good care of it, ive had it for about 2 years and its always just been chilling on my desk, but anywho I thought the cable just went bad and ordered a replacement. Ain't head-to-head, but the guy definitely owns a pair of T1-Es and gives his comparison.
P.S. Add to this; I'm Not sure that the "T-400"s are the answer; as the Fit to the 'TTPOD' T1-E IEMs is, beyond Snug. TTPOD , Please add Your Foam Tips.
P.S. P.S. Yes, the cable quality; on the T1 - E , is nicer too. It's a shame. As the T1S, deserves better.
although, tips will change the way your iem sounds. IMO, comfort comes in the expense of bass. But I prefer comfort more than anything, so there's that.
As for the TTPods, Well, i've given my opinion before and I'm giving it again.
TTPods aren't really the iem manufacturers with the best build quality. And the defining quality of the T1 was the BASS. Ask anyone, and they'll reply the same. With T1-S, they started transitioning into this weird balanced sound department, resulting in the T2.
So, yes. If you still have the money and a ****ton of bass, go for the T1-E. Even if it sounds expensive.
