#11 blades are not intended to be used as knife blades. They are great as scalpels where ultra-sharp is demanded. They also work well as in a hobby knife for a short while, but rapidly degrade as they used. Even relatively soft materials such as foam core will quickly dull the edge of a #11 blade. Which is why #11 blades are sold in 100-packs. Also, virtually any side-ways pressure or torsion motion may snap the points off. Not saying the product is bad, just that it may have lower reliability due to blade failure.

oldgearheadOver 2000 sold, haven't heard of anyone complain yet. I have it fit only high quality blades, not terrible x-acto blades. The blades coming in this batch are a Blued Carbon Steel Grade A blade (basically best you can buy)
