Man these are not working out well. I've only used these hammocks a total of 6 times at most. The straps have frayed, and most recently the knot came undone on one hammock rope while someone was in it; simple enough to fix, but the other hammock had it's rope completely snap with someone in it shortly after that. I really don't think there's any way I could have done this considering the short usage.
The rope is the problem here, so I'm not requesting a replacement, I'm fixing it myself. Overall the parachute material is fine and has done as expected but everything attached to it is abysmal. Another note i'd like to add - the carabiners have extremely rough/sharp latch edges. I have to take extra care to not fray the straps every time I put it on. Caveat emptor.

insidionInsidion, thanks for the comments. We appreciate all criticism so we can make a better product! We have upgraded all the rope. The quality before was just not good enough. So that has been fixed! We know the carabiners are a little rough. These still have the same carabiners but we are going to upgrade those on future hammocks. The price will rise a bit with that. We are doing a great price on these to move them out so we can bring in the newer one with the upgraded carabiners. Still we think compared to the competition it's a great value!
