Will these give any minimal boost in sound quality over the cables that come with the 6XX?

JayFlea Your Magni does not have a 4-pin XLR input, so the cable wouldn't even be compatible with your amp. Honestly, unless you're wanting to buy a whole new amp, that includes a balanced 4-pin input, I would skip on this drop.

K-TranI'm also no expert on the subject but I think that would defeat the purpose of using XLR in the first place as the 1/4" connection is not balanced. Someone, please correct me if I am wrong.

Which path you want to take, solid state or tube, budget, there is always something different/(better), ... .
