weggsFrom what I read regarding reviews, trangia stove are more favorable. My recommendation would be make your own. I made my own capillary hoop stove which weights in mere 7 grams and it boils water less than 8 minutes in 12f weather.
weggsI got one of these to replace a worn out aluminum supercat. and really wanted to like it. Light and indestructible, but too small to boil enough water to be useful. Had to refill halfway through. Takes a long time to heat up enough such that placing a pot on top doesn't smother the flame. Also doesn't work well when half-full. I ended up going back to my supercat style stoves. I might try overfilling to help prime the stove and figure out how to work with it, but if you don't already have one I'd suggest other alternatives. The trangia works very well but requires a pot stand and it's relatively heavy.
