Frame length makes it a bit too long for carry on. The load lifter/compression on the new design is novel. Not for me, but always appreciate New takes on old things. Old school Kelty externals did not weigh much more than this does.

Really think all mesh hip belt pockets are a terrible idea. Any idea if mere mortals can access the water bottle pockets while wearing the pack?
