As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where our warehouse team will break it up into individual orders and ship them. The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 8/23.

I ordered it because I was curious and also intrigued by the windscreen. Just timed it on .5 L in a SnowPeak mug at 15 minutes plus to boil, about three times what it would take me on my TurboCat II homebuilt, which is made of a cat food can and a pop can. On the other hand, reclaiming fuel was easy, and the Vargo seems less vulnerable to destruction by one footstep. I'm going to experiment with it and check efficiency, especially by varying height to the pot. I suspect it has the pot way lower than optimal height. It is cool to see the jets fire on after 3-5 minutes of priming; you can feel the heat difference when it fires up. And yes, the windscreen is awesome.

Got this in the last drop; I am using it with my Vargo Ti Boilier (900mls pot) and it works great. Took a little bit of practise and I find a bit of foil on the ground helps but it works great.
Good backup option. Learn the quirks. Use a penny or bottle cap in the pool of fuel. Cheers.

Here's a hint on using this stove: when possible, press the support legs into the ground. This will allow you to level the stove despite the micro-terrain of the ground and enhance stability as you anchor the stove into the soil. The picture here does not portray that well.
As per @toferj 's comment, it's true you can't see the amount of alcohol in the stove, which is why the fuel bottle is vital - it has clear volume markings on the side so you can tell exactly how much fuel you've poured in. Once you get familiar with the stove and how much fuel you'll need to boil your pot or mug, then you can pour exactly that much in. Additionally, if you're done boiling and there is still alcohol in the stove, you can blow out the flame, let it cool, and then pour the extra alcohol back into the fuel bottle.
I have had this stove for about 6 months now and used it about dozen times. I found that there was a learning period to understand the quirks. It is easy to overprime the stove causing it to run hot with a big flame that will engulf your pot (mine is 800ml). Once you dial in the fuel and consistently get a nice steady flame going, it is a very nice stove. I haven't used it in very cold weather yet, but I am looking forward to giving it a try this winter.
I've used this exact stove before. Not a fan. Not at all. It was hard to fill, and here's what I mean: you pour in a bunch of fuel, wait for it to drain into that tiny little fill hole. Pour in more fuel, wait for it to drain. Lather, rinse, repeat. Is it full enough to go? You have no idea because you can't actually see your fuel level. It didn't light well in the back country (in my experience).
Just my two cents, but I'd avoid this one. I ended up selling mine for $10 to someone who doesn't use alcohol stoves, but collects them for some reason.

It's actually a no-brainer. The instructions say to fill it until it is just overfull and a small amount of Alcohol pools on the top of the burner. This is because the Burner has to be primed to be used properly. (enough heat needs to be obtained, to create enough pressure, to turn the fuel into a vapor, so it can start burning out of the holes). So you do not need to know the level at all, just keep filling until it pools... not hard! Some say there is a small breaking in period to these as well.
