What is SpaceFN and why you should give it a try
The SpaceFN concept - setting up your space key as a layer switch when held - is probably one of the most useful tweaks in the keyboard hobby. Let me explain how it works. My SpaceFN article on kbd.news made some rounds recently - quite surprisingly given the age of this concept. This piece you're reading is a condensed version of the full post. If you're left with unanswered questions, you'll most likely find the info you're looking for in the original write-up. On my imaginary top list of the most useful keyboard features, tweaks and hacks, SpaceFN would deserve a podium finish for sure. But what makes it so special? In short: SpaceFN is easy to implement, easy to learn, costs nothing, can be used with any keyboard, and can improve your productivity instantly. I will list its benefits below, but can state right at this point that the SpaceFN concept, setting up your space key as a layer switch when held, is clearly one of the most useful tweaks in the keyboard hobby....

Bravo.
If you don't have a reply by the end of the next working day, then feel free to resume pissing all over yourself.
I hate to be that guy, but this is mountains out of mole hills.
Totally not defending MD in this case. They obviously messed up several orders at least, and I'm hoping mine, which is stuck in Canada Customs hell for who knows how long, shows up correct. It won't be worth the time/money to return it if not. But absolutely losing it like this and just spamming every outlet you can find ON THE WEEKEND with insane leaps of logic isn't accomplishing anything.
I'm trying to make sure everybody knows that NOBODY GOT WHAT THEY ORDERED. Did anybody get a black one?
I really don't want to sit here and argue with you, but you're being completely irrational. "NOBODY GOT WHAT THEY ORDERED" is a baseless, and, if we're being completely honest, slanderous claim. You may want to tone that back a little. Shipping errors aren't illegal, defamation/slander is.
You don't know what anyone who hasn't posted in this thread got. 6 out of 153 is hardly a representative sample.
Not to be an apologist, but mistakes happen. If they've only had 3 messed up drops out of the thousands I've witnessed, that's a pretty good record.
I would like to know exactly what's going on with this one, but just ranting about it everywhere isn't solving the issue. I don't know what your goal is here. Are you hoping if you make enough noise they'll just give you your money back and you get a free keyboard?
