How stable is the last of the sole? (If you held the heel of the shoe above the ground, and let gravity pull the toe towards the ground, then pressed the shoe straight down into the ground, would the sole “curl up” and flex evenly from toe to heel as you press, or would the shoe “fold in half” where the joints of your foot are and stay rigid from the arch to the heel?
jeremyaBased solely on reviews I’m reading on amazon, the answer to my question is “not stable at all” — these “shoes” offer no support to the arch whatsoever, just a rubberized wrap (Vibram sole) that lets your foot do all the work of stabilizing itself. Great if you’re into that sort of thing, not so great if your feet need a bit more support. ;)
JoshuaGThat makes more sense. Thank you. I'm a little disappointed that "stenting your get" isn't new slang that I've missed. You may have invented the next hot catch phrase. I'm planning to it in a conversation just to see people will pretend they know what it means.
peanut_butterPlease don't. There are so many other things I would rather be known for and something like this would likely be the only thing on my obituary...
The metatarsals really expand when you tart using them. For as much as I had run before using them, it was amazing to find out how weak I was. Use them slowly and enjoy.
