Is the drop for the EXACT watch pictured in the drop or are we going to get another situation like last drop when people received a completely different watch ?
If it is the watch pictured I am interested, but I am really put off because of previous buyers saying they received the wrong watch.
Can someone please confirm that the watch I will receive will be the exact watch pictured in the drop ?
SigurdAI would also add that the watch pictured in the email invitation has a black face which I find much more appealing but that watch does not appear in the drop at all. Misleading for sure. I have no idea what the watch will look like.
I've owned this watch since 2012...My wife works directly with Victorinox and she got it even cheaper then this price, but this is a very good price for this watch...its a tank, very heavy, very durable, very reliable. It's been in Caribbean oceans and neighborhood pools for the past 4+ years. Can't go wrong with this purchase
erude78is the alarm relatively loud? I've had some watches where the alarm is very quiet--not loud enough to get my attention when awake and doing normal everyday chores. I consider gshock and timex iron man alarm volumes to be sufficiently loud, my seiko analogue watch alarm on the other hand is like a whisper chime...really useless actually.
Universally, people report the alarm is hard to set and it is not covered in the generic user manual. I found two videos that show how to set the alarm. I should add--the reason people report the alarm is hard to set is because the user manual doesn't tell you how. the video shows it is actually pretty easy. movement is ronda 5130D. Uses a 395 silver oxide battery with life of 48 months. The movement actually has a second hand built into a third dial position, but this victorinox did away with the second hand for asthetics and logo placement. As a result, when the chono is not running, there is no second hand indication during normal time reading.

update: I got the watch and it is really easy to set the alarm. you do have to calibrate the alarm time with the normal time when you get the watch. After this, all the alarm setting and turning the alarm on and off is done via the right lower button. the instruction manual PDF linked below explains it well.
lobsterupdate on this watch: I don't wear it anymore because the large chronograph second hand often gets moved out of alignment with 12 even with moderate bumps. I think the hand is just too large and weighty for the motor. not hard to re calibrate, but annoying.
Vincent.H Can you please confirm that the watch I will receive will be the exact watch pictured in the drop ?
I am interested in this exact watch but I do not want to get the wrong watch....
Seiko Black Monster. Seiko Turtle. Bullet Proof and last a life time. Got my Black Monster for $200 about 10 years ago and haven't had ONE issue. It even worked when it arrived!
shineonyouthat is a different watch. the one in this drop has the alarm function on the mvmt. the one in your link does not. also the one in your link is ref#241443 and the one on this drop is ref#241280
shineonyouThe watch in this drop has a ronda 5130D movement. The watch you gave a link to has a completely different movement (ETA G10). My personal opinion is the ronda is a more practical movement because the chronograph can record up to 12 hours and of course it has an alarm function. The other ETA G10 movement has the ability to accurately time things for only 30 min or less, but it gives you 0.1 sec accuracy. I don't have any need for that fraction of a second accuracy at the expense of other functions.
e3hamI can't speak to the value of the watch but I feel comfortable spending money on this site. I wouldn't worry about them running off with your money or anything.
I really want this watch but I will be on vacation that I need a new watch for 2 days after it ships. If somehow they could ship it out a week sooner I would buy one in a heartbeat :,(
