Just received the watch, wasn't impressed. The bezel is slightly off-centered (that's fine). Worst still, the second hand is ticking off-the-scale; instead of tick & stop at the marking, it stops in between the marking.
Normal for a Swiss Made watch ?

alvin1118The bezel is supposed to rotate, you can re-centre it easily. As for the seconds hand, it could be that particular watch, mine doesn't seem to have that problem.

cpelkeyI believe alvin1118 is saying his watch has issues; is that to be expected from a Swiss made watch. The fact that yours doesn't have that issue is beside the point.

alvin1118I'm beginning to question the products that MD is dropping. Based on items I've received and comments I've read, not so confident in the authenticity of the products.

Steven_in_SAI was mostly explaining the off-centred bezel and how to fix it. The second hand was merely an acknowledgement that I don't have a solution for that problem.

alvin1118My watch has identical problem. That same black version. You can't center bezel. It is on the right or on the left side of "center"... The second hand... stops between the marking... Sad but true... :-(

alvin1118You may be able to recenter the bezel with a hair dryer. May take some time though and it may not soften it enough.

alvin1118Sadly enough, the problem with the seconds hand ticking between the markings could happen even in higher end swiss watches.
As for the bezel, that's poor QC. This Massdrop offer is probably a batch of watches with QC issues. Hence the discount...

alvin1118That's a sharp looking watch.
I think the issues around misalignment are within the tolerances of some watchmakers who anticipate that the issue will eventually correct itself, typically with a small jolt from say, a missing ripcord, a too-long bungee-jumping cord, starting a BBQ with the lid down, or a small fire in a munitions factory.
