For the record, the handle is still good old cellidor, just in black or white, rather than red. The polispectral finish refers to the tools and blades. Regardless, it's a lovely knife.

IvanSpendalotI don't own this knife in this finish, though I do own a fair number of Swiss Army knives. Regardless, the answer is yes. Anything abrasive, by definition, will remove it. If the sharpening surface couldn't remove the coating, it couldn't sharpen the knife. With care and the right sharpener (i.e. one that ensures a consistent blade angle) you can minimize stray scratches, but nothing will prevent your blades getting a little scratched with use. This is especially true for Swiss Army knives, which use a relatively soft steel.
