The finish looks cool but its still cellidor plastic scales. I prefer the alox series (thinner and aluminum scales w ribbed texturing) and carry a cadet alox everyday as a secondary where as my 2 cellis sit in a drawer mostly. The cadet fits perfect in the coin pocket and is super light at like 1.6oz!

CdoyleI wonder if you could swap scales with an Alox model? But Victorinox May have pinned the scales in such a way to make them non removable, which would be too bad.

EvshrugThe pins can be drilled out and replaced with torx hardware and standoffs readily available so i would think so.
