jsolarI think the real problem is, if you purchase one from one of the online retailers. You actually get proper support. Mailing oversea takes a long time but it's way better then nonexistence.

CosmosZhuOut of everything i ever got from them in the past only had one issue with a product. I contacted LCDC and they corrected the problem without question for me. So maybe not support from the individual manufacturers but they do have their own support for any issues. Its a solid company.

jsolarI recently ordered a few things from LCDC and the packages each took about two weeks to arrive. My impression is this is slower than normal which I attribute to the holiday shipping rush. Appelboom has the same deal as LCDC but uses Fedex for shipping which usually arrives within 3-4 days. Either way, both vendors are cheaper and much faster.

mulrichCant remember the shiping service that lcdc uses. To michigan in non holidays it was about 10 days. So yeah that souds about right. Maybe it was DHL?

jsolarMine arrived from USPS. Using DHL for international shipping is a deal breaker for me.

CosmosZhuWhere do you think Massdrop gets their wares? It's the same overseas source(s). You will not get any better support from Massdrop than from LCDC or Appelboom.

semkaThey changed the description. When it was still active, there was some words mentioning NO WARRANTY. So my point was any warranty is better than no warranty at all.

jsolarOuch. Massdrop should check prices before posting a "drop". If I were in the market, I'd to the same.

jsolarSeems Lacouronne have upped their price to 550 Euros, but your point is well taken. Wondering if you ever faced issues of paying customs and duties on an item such as this coming to the US from Europe...Seems in Canada it is Russian Roulette with the major couriers and customs.

1963Make an account. If you live outside the EU it will adjust the prices based on that. If youre not logged in itll show you EU prices, which includes VAT.
Personally ive never payed any duties or anything coming into the US. most things come via DHL. And usually sit in customs for about 2-5 days depending on how much they decided to play with my purchases.
