Adding/Including Memories
I lost my dad last year (2023) and have been finding ways to include keepsakes/memories in my workstation. I've dabbled here and there with doing small woodworking projects and attempted a wrist rest from a piece of oak I picked up with him from my great uncles wood shop. I milled it to fit a 60% keyboard as I hadn't decided what keyboard I would be using it on and thought that's where most of my wrist would be in contact even typing on a full keyboard. I gave it a torched/burn appearance as I really was lost in what to do. I found an old shell casing from going hunting with my dad in my hunting pack and decided to imbed it into the end of the wrist rest so it would just have a little difference and a small story behind it as well. I have other things around my workstation from family and friends, but it just feels a little more special having worked on it and adding something small that has a memory for me to it. (Purple was my grandmothers favorite color and I have kinda now...

confirmation would be ideal still though, 👌
The Single monitor mount has the LG 34UM94-P. It is a 34" Ultrawide monitor weighing in at 14.8lbs as tested and photographed for this drop. http://www.lg.com/us/business/commercial-display/it-products/desktop-monitors/lg-34UM94-P
The Dual monitor mount has two of the LG 29UB67-B. They are 29" Ultrawide monitors weighing in at 13.9lbs each and was also tested and photographed for this drop. http://www.lg.com/us/business/commercial-display/it-products/desktop-monitors/lg-29UB67-B
Almost two years later now those exact monitors are still being used on those same mounts at someones desk here in the office. I have not had any complaints or problems with them at all. The vendors will always play it safe on the size/weight that monitor stands are capable of.
@arishi You mentioned the 34UC88. The weight of that monitor without the stand is actually 13.67lbs. It is not listed on the US site, I am not sure why. But you can find the weight without the stand listed on the UK site as 6.2kg equaling 13.67lbs. http://www.lg.com/uk/monitors/lg-34UC88
That being said you should be fine to use this mount with the 34UC88 as it is under the tested weight done here at Massdrop over the last 2 years of 14.8lbs.
Lastly, @sgnl You mentioned the dual mount supporting two 34" monitors. While the actual arms can support the weight I do not think there would be enough clearance between the to arms for them to actually fit so I do not think that it will work.
Let me know if you have any more questions and as always feel free to tag me in any post @B.Hutch.
Cheers.
(I didn't notice the "F" until just now, I stated earlier that I had just the "P" model as that's what my amazon invoice said)
previous it would only give me like 1 and a half turns. After the release, it's supporting my monitor as expected.
Sometimes, having two free-adjusting monitors feels like the mission briefing screens from the original Starcraft Terran missions, and my attention span can only handle one screen at a time (though, feasibly, I could use both plus my iPad using the app Duet Display), but ergonomically the first one was a revelation, and I'll never use standard monitor feet again!
