For those of you bashing someone else's hobby because they don't see the point, or the money spent makes no sense to them, etc. etc. Just please stop. Why would you even bother coming into the comments section to bash others love of this hobby and then go so far as to insult them with other pokes and unintelligent sarcasm? Just stay out instead. Go drop your money on the hobby you enjoy instead. Post your comments and thoughts about spending all your money on YOUR favorite hobby's and devices. Thank you.

Neblin7Like MAGIC cards. Why spend hundreds of dollars on cards that will be obsolete after the next 2 expansions are released? Because it's fun to play with, and so are these.

Neblin7No ones bashing the hobby its the mark up.people are charging.I carry a spinner my friend made on a lathe in titanium cost 6$ to make and it's one of the best ones I own so I had him do one in copper cost 3$.these guys are upping the price over 1000% +.In my opinion they are ruing the hoby.there is nothing fancy or hard to.produce about this piece to cost 200$.by not supporting these guys we can get the price down to collect spinners and enjoy the hoby without getting ripped off.

PorkfriedchristBETTER IDEA...... if you can produce this product so cheap, like many have suggested 1. DO IT 2. MARK IT UP 100% 3. SELL 100s 4.SHUT UP AND COUNT MONEY otherwise just shut up

trickerInforming people that you can get this for less then a tenth of the price is some rather useful information that I'm glad he shared. This just sounds like some rather intense buyers remorse.

PorkfriedchristThere is more to something than just the material cost. If I person wants to do this full time, there are machine costs, time considerations, opportunity costs, development costs and so on. Keep in mind that even if this person can churn out one an hour, once all the various costs are paid he's not getting rich off this. If your friend can do this "on the cheap" for you, then super. He's doing you a one-off favor. If this is career, it's actually costing far more than the $6 of material. So, they aren't ripping you off.
I don't know why people these days seem to think they should not have to pay markups and only pay a person's cost on items. If that happened, we wouldn't have anything new in this world. Profits are what allow a person to continue producing goods and developing new ones.

PorkfriedchristI agree Porkfriedchrist (great user name). It's clear that people are happy to pay 200 bucks for this device. The skill involved in producing this thing, while not dramatically hard to learn, is not an everyday thing, but the mark up is over the top. Again though...more than a hundred people think its worth it. I just don't because i know its not is all.
