Without definite confirmation that the space bars can be assigned separately after a firmware update, I will not join. Should it be possible I'll once more consider purchasing regularly

GunzVortex has told me that they will release a firmware to allow each space bar to be program separately from each other in "a few days."

LD_TypeGreat, I've got one of these. Love it so far. But I couldnt' definitely use that firmware update.

NickSinThey didn't give me a date, sorry. Since right now it's Lunar New Year weekend, I suspect it won't be available until after the holiday is over. You will be able to download the firmware on their website over at http://vortexgear.tw/vortex3.asp

NickSinThat sucks but makes sense, right? . Good to know. I read in a couple places that the new firmware would be able to reprogram the second space bar ..... anyone know?

NickSinThis is how you would do that:
-Select the layer you want to edit (you can't do this on the default layer). -Press and hold Pn and LShift until the LED between the split space bar begins to flash -Press the button you want to be the new Pn key (in your case the LWin key)
That's all, your LWin key should now be the Pn key and the Pn key should be LWin.
