Is this worth 5 times of the money compare to a winder sell in Amazon?

ryamamYes it is. The vast majority of winders on ebay and to a lesser degree on Amazon do not have the variability in settings that are incorporated in the Wolf. Not all automatic watches (especially older ones) have a limit on the spring. Thus they can be overwound and broken. Very bad and expensive repair.

Erik1Having spent $1,800 to fix a broken spring mechanism on a stupidly expensive watch, I'll pay the difference for some peace of mind. The only common denominator was a cheap ebay winder. The exception may make the rule but how can you be sure? I have an excellent automatic citizen that is specifically touted as having protection against overwinding.

Ore54Any decent auto will not overwind on your wrist or on a winder. The only advantage of variable winding rates is that you can keep the watch in the middle of the reserve which may be slightly better for the watch instead of having the spring fully wound all the time. Besides if you look at the recommended rates for different watches -they are almost all the same .
