My problem with these kind of winders is . What is the guarantee on them ?
i bought several of the these that "ShopNBC" now called "Evine" sold that were very similar, and they were pathetic to say the least. I've heard "Wolf" is a good name but at the end of the description ,it tells you it's all final..... you plug and set these things up and it's suppose to be a
machine that's pose to just run and run and run. Never making a sound, and never missing a beat.
so let's talk about a product guarantee when we're talking about that kind of money.....
Rhodes6858Well, I've had a Wolf Winder (single) for over 5 years now and it's on day and night for my Breitling. It is indeed SUPER silent, and hasn't even failed once. Keep in mind that it's not rotating *constantly*. It rotates a few hundred turns a day, then sleeps for 18 hours... depending on how you set it. I can't recall the exact intervals but it's not on constantly. Wolf typically has 2 year warranty, BTW.
MiksterAccording to MD's policy, manufacturer warranties now only exist on products where the warranty is explicitly listed on the drop page. As there's no warranty listed here, there is no manufacturer warranty from Wolf, and only a 30-day return policy exists (and then basically only for defective, damaged, not-as-advertised, or missing parts issues). Caveat Emptor.
MiksterI have a Wolf Meridian Triple winder and it doesn't end the cycles with the watches centered. Just wanted to check if it was just mine or they all do that. I also have the Juvo A4 winder which has an auto-centering feature after cycles but I hate the placement of the control knobs on the A4 and you can not adjust the TPD in 50 increments like you can with the Wolf. I'm now in the market for another winder but not having the auto-centering really bothers me (OCD, I know).
PinheadI bought one of these here last year and it started making some noise recently. Emailed Wolf and they issued an RMA. Disappointing that it started to make noise, but at least the manufacturer warranteed it. I’ve heard they can be stingy about the warranty depending on the avenue of purchase.
