Every time I park with my car I just let the engine run so I don't have to start it hours later or next day when I want to use it again. I don't think about the unnecessary deterioration because I'm not that smart. Maybe I'll pick up a watch winder too.

And yet you don’t have the common sense to realise watches are meant to be worn everyday. Or the common sense to realise that in a discussion about watches, you should first consult a watch maker before talking out of your behind with no actual knowledge on the matter. So not that much common sense, after all

lol, yeah. Hilarious that of all the watches out there they picked two quartz watches to show off an expensive watch winder. Great job!

I've owned wolf winders before and had one die just out of the 1 yr warranty that came with it: they would not repair it in any way if there is no warranty in place. Not even if you pay them- they told me just to buy a new one because they aren't serviceable at all and they don't sell parts. So It's important to know if these come with a warranty or not because if your $1000 winder dies in 1 month wolf won't do a thing with no warranty- no repair, no parts, nothing.

HansDanLooks like there's no warranty. Thank you for your post. I was thinking about buying one and it never occurred to me that it might not be reliable -- or un-repairable. Needless to say I'm going to pass.

Tell me why this is over half a grand? I literally cannot understand. It seems like the market doesn't function in this part of the world.

SabinnoI dont know much about winder module so I can't say anything about that. But aesthetic and quality wise, Wolf is among the best, especially with this Roadster line up. Roadster is supposed to be paired with prestige watches like Patek, Rolex, etc.. If you have 2 Rolex, then you will probably have no problem spending 400$ to keep them. For me, like wise, I have only 1 Rolex, and I also have no problem spending 130$ for a beautiful box to store it. At least that's what I think

SabinnoIts a great box to not only display your watch but also to keep your watches wound espeically for watches with moon-phase or perpetual calenders that are a pain to reset sometimes . It's also in much high quality than other cheap watch winders you find on eBay. The motor is reliable and extremely quiet. It's obviously not something anyone needs but it's certainly a nice piece to have if you have the extra cash.

My problem with these kind of winders is . What is the guarantee on them ? i bought several of the these that "ShopNBC" now called "Evine" sold that were very similar, and they were pathetic to say the least. I've heard "Wolf" is a good name but at the end of the description ,it tells you it's all final..... you plug and set these things up and it's suppose to be a machine that's pose to just run and run and run. Never making a sound, and never missing a beat. so let's talk about a product guarantee when we're talking about that kind of money.....

I bought one of these here last year and it started making some noise recently. Emailed Wolf and they issued an RMA. Disappointing that it started to make noise, but at least the manufacturer warranteed it. I’ve heard they can be stingy about the warranty depending on the avenue of purchase.

Rhodes6858True, if you get a good one you won't ever have to send it back. If you get a bad one, well then send it back...

Been browsing for a watch winder for a little while now... Almost pulled the trigger on a "more than cheapo" watch winder on Amazon. Mainly because I didn't think I could afford a Wolf any time soon. Naturally after seeing this for about half of what Amazon is selling it for ($750), I had to join! Can't wait to get it.

lawsonj65I have the one single version of the model. This is an outstanding buy, and fantastic winder! I just hope I really don't get a defective one! This is a great product!

wow... $550 for a piece of wood veneer and a $5 LCD screen? At that price it should at least be real (top or full grain) leather...

definitely a product for someone with too much money - i'd rather spend the dough on a watch, and at this price-point you're sure to get a hand-wind and hacking automatic

linux_authorThis watch winder is designed and sold for people with rolex and Tudor and omega, not a 400 dollar watch. It is what it is
