And the first two completed! There are three more in the shop right now with the bearings drying the epoxy, and six more awaiting final sanding and finishing. I have to do the last bit in stages, due to limitations on space on the drying rack and workbench space for the final assembly. Three is about as many at a time as I can run through the assembly steps. I hope to have the remaining six completed tomorrow. Also shown here is the brand new FeltStomper(TM) tool that I printed up this afternoon, to make sure the felt is pressed tightly into the glue everywhere. I had previously been using the bottom of a bottle to do it, but that pressed tightly only around the edges, and left the center to be pushed down with finger pressure. The results of this tool are much quicker and more sure, there's no question that it's bottomed out in the adhesive everywhere. :)
