Support for Alternative Layouts
This is a summary of how alternative layouts have been supported by kits such as Colevrak and Homing. It is not a discussion of alt layout performance and development, but if that interests you I highly recommend starting with Pascal Getreuer’s A guide to alt keyboard layouts (why, how, which one?). Since I've got over 30 keyboards and I'm a super busy person, I put the defect keyboard on the shelf after noticing the quality issue - I consider it a collectable over a functional one. Recently, when I missed the feeling of "Hall Effect", I took this keyboard out of my shelf and started typing. This time, almost 1/3 of the keys are sticky. They dont come back when bottomed out. Nice. This could be the worst product I've ever owned in my entire life...thinking about having been waiting it for couple of months...
Anyway, I hope all the potential customers get the perfect (or better) units from this round.
Fact - if you like collecting keyboards anyone/everyone, will acquire keyboards that fail, part of living in the 21st Century ; )
Cherry MY is still worse. :/
