dreadinnyThe JBL is on the poll, and it'll definitely come back again sometime soon, but I'd personally prefer the Yamaha or Mackie sub.

dreadinnyYou don't always have to match manufacturer subs. I just tried out JBL stuff and wasn't a big fan of it. Go to Guitar center and bring some music on your phone or USB, and just listen to all the rigs! They're very patient.

HualicopterI went to Guitar Center yesterday. Not one sub hooked up (only PA ones). I did get to hear the Yamaha sub at Sam Ash. The 8 inch actually impressed me. I was told by someone there I might want to look at the JBL because of my music genre and price point. I haven't heard it. Shoot, I would go for a krk 12s if I could afford it! Probably overkill for most, but perfect for Hip Hip
