I still haven't receieved mine, or a shipment notification of it. Estimated shipdate is still July 11. What is going on?

This never arrived, and it was falsely advertised from day one. They had neither of the models offered in the drop actually available, and sent an e-mail out after the fact offering a choice of different colorways and patterns (no speckled, red, or blue on offer). Then it was stated that there was a delay and that they'd be out within 30 days of the estimated ship date. That date came and went with photorooster below having stated 3 weeks prior that they received theirs. So, I had to e-mail again since apparently no one looks at these discussion pages any longer. "Thank you for reaching out to Massdrop Support. I sincerely apologize for the delay getting back to you, I was out of the office for a couple of days. You do have our sincerest apologies that your YoYo has not shipped. I will do what I can do to help. First I'd like to mention that something must have happened in the warehouse with your unit, as I see that it was accounted for but your order still ended up on an unexpected backorder and you do have our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience this may cause.  We only order the exact quantities needed for each drop, which means there is no extra inventory available to send as a replacement. Our business model is based on group purchases, so we do not have the ability to procure individual replacements from the vendor at this time. Which means that at this point we can offer sending out a Grey YoYo with a Red Splash, as we have some of these left over from members who chose to cancel later on, or we can offer a refund for this order. We understand that this experience is not ideal and we assure you that we're taking these matters seriously. As a token of our apologies, I have added a $15 Massdrop coupon to your account. It will remain active for a year, during checkout it will automatically apply as a discount the next time you join a drop. Please note that it is good for one-time use which means that there won’t be a remaining balance. Please let me know if you have additional questions or concerns. "
I do not and cannot recommend joining this drop or any other yo-yo drop on Massdrop at this time, and would be remiss to allow this drop to return without future customers knowing this. Bait, switch, and never deliver.
Ok this turned out to be a really good throw. I'm noting unusual ability to correct for bad throws which is highly desireable if you are less then accurate on landings. I want another one at that same great price so come on people and make some requests!
Ok the yoyo shipment went out July 15th 2017... not too too far from day promised... but there was a colorway change too. All and all about 75% satisfied with my experience.
For future drop customers note, counting 2 days past promised mailout date of July 11th, 2017 and still nothing in mail.
I'm super happy to see yoyos being offered here finally, but I have to point out; this yoyo is only $36 on amazon not the $90 MSRP they claim here

Could it be due to the 50ct limit? It doesn't state anything about limited edition colours or any perks like that. Perhaps it's MSRP when bought through specific vendors. Still committed to the drop & will switch to join if it doesn't get up to 25. First drop I've ever participated in! EDIT:: after digging around in the amazon reviews, that one listed is the responsive version they made. Seems there's a huge difference in both performance & price.

As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where our warehouse team will break it up into individual orders and ship them directly to you! The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 11/20.

From experience, I can say that this yoyo is a superb throw... and at this price it's unbeatable. Nice, wide gap for string tricks and a long spin for combos. The anodization looks solid too.
The yoyo just came today! Feels rather light and balanced. Definitely suitable for fast tricks. Just that the bearing is rather noisy. H profile is pretty good for eli hops. Recommendation: Swap out the stock C bearing for a one drop 10 ball bearing and you are good to go.

Where do these ship from?
No but Chaos seemed to think it's decent at this price. It retails for $60 in these colors so meh.

I currently am using a Maverick with a Terrapin X bearing in it and its ok at best. It's heavy feeling on the throw and can be kinda unstable unless you throw it perfectly. Great for a cheap throw that I could care less if I ding it up a little. Can't wait to try this out for a comparison.
