10 Cleavers From an Industry Leader
Cleavers aren’t typically the first knife you reach for, but they’re an excellent piece to round out a collection. Great for chopping vegetables, trimming meat, and working through bones, they’re nice to have at the ready. Here, we’re featuring nine different cleavers, some with 8-inch blades and others with 6.5-inch blades. The majority of the knives offered are made with three layers of forged steel with a core of VG-10 for good edge retention. For a real showstopper, there are two cleavers with 67-layer Damascus steel. Depending on the model you choose, the handle material will differ from TPR to POM to oak to pakkawood.
