This finish is actually called Iced. It is one of my favorite Zippo finishes. almost a holographic look. And the coating feels nice in the hand with a nice grip to it. The coating is actually a colored translucent powder coating over a tumbled finish metal body. It is not paint and is a more durable finish than paint.

Dfunk1210This sealed the deal for me. I was worried it'd chip if it was painted. Letting the powder coat wear naturally will develop a nice character.
