I bought the SV-GWE50 model. Finish and vacuum mechanism are definitely better than the competition. It also survived a drop on my ceramic floor. Only a couple of caveats: a) The interior of the cup can be easily scuffed. b) One must not tilt the bottle too much nor too abruptly while serving, otherwise it spills. This can be tricky.

I love this mug. I use it daily even when not travelling because it keeps my coffee hot for hours. It is better than the half a dozen previous mugs that I have purchased from others. If this mug shows up on Massdrop in the future, BUY IT!

After years of suffering with travel mugs (that either get too hot or too cold) while driving, or dealing with the dripping lid of a thermos, hallelujah hallelujah, my prayers have been answered! Everything about this product is GREAT!! Stays hot (or cold) and doesn't leak. At all! Even after being dropped on a concrete floor. There will be no more long drives without it! $$ well spent.
